Recognising business and professional achievement
The Awards celebrate outstanding individuals and organisations from the Fiji diaspora in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Six awards
Five categories are open for entry. Lifetime Achievement is selected by the FBN committee and is not open for entry.
Independent judging
Entries are judged against five criteria, with each criterion worth 20 per cent.

Business awards
Business of the Year
Overall business excellence, growth, contribution and reputation. The headline award.
Small Business of the Year
For businesses where entrepreneurial drive and performance are particularly impressive. Fewer than five full time equivalent employees, or annual turnover under $500,000.
Excellence in Customer Service Award
For any business that delivers an exceptional customer experience. Restaurants, professional services, retailers, trades and hospitality can all compete.
Community Impact Award
For a business making a significant contribution to the community beyond simply making money. Judged on outcomes, not spend.
Individual awards
Business Leader of the Year
For an individual who has demonstrated leadership, business achievement and community contribution. Judged on leadership, not company size.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Recognises sustained contribution over a career. It is not open for entry. One recipient is selected by the committee of Fiji Business Network (NZ) Incorporated.
